Conor McGregor Knocked Out During Sparring Session. Bad Sign or Crazy Rumor?

Ever since the announcement of a match up between legendary undefeated boxer Floyd Mayweather and famed MMA fighter Conor McGregor, the world has been waiting for fight night. And after all of the antics outside of the ring, including the press conference, the buzz has reached an all time high.

All eyes are on both fighters, from when they are training to when they are simply talking smack on social media. McGregor and fans of the MMA dynamite have shown their confidence in McGregor defeating Mayweather. However things might change after hearing this.

Rumors have spread throughout the internet that MMA star McGregor might need a bit more training,he was allegedly knocked out during a sparring session. In a conversation with Villainfy media, former world champion fighter, Jessie Vargas claims that McGregor was knocked out by MMA fighter and sparring partner Bradley Wheeler,a decision by McGregor proving to backfire.

“I heard that they tried Bradley Wheeler but he knocked him out”, said Vargas.

The question is,what does this mean for McGregor’s chances with the Undefeated Mayweather? Vargas is confident that Mayweather will walk away with the victory,

“I have no doubt. I actually wanna put some money on it. It’s a 99 per cent win.”

Nonetheless after watching the fiasco of the bout’s promotional tour and listening to McGregor speak,no one earth is more confident.

Its not like McGregor hasn’t lost before, his professional MMA record is 21-3 (w-l) with three losses due to submission. However, he has yet to be knocked-out and this will also be his debut as a boxer.

We’ll see if this proves to be an omen for McGregor on fight night.
