Watch These Inmates Break Out Of Prison Captured All On Their Cell Phones

A video of three inmates escaping Orange County central jail in California has took the internet by storm.

The three inmates named Hossein Nayeri (38), Jonathan Tieu (20, and Bac Duong (43) apparently planned this escape for months before escaping.

The video not only shows the Play-by-play of the escape but also the aftermath during their time on the run.

According to the Sheriff’s Department the Three inmates broke out of the Men’s Central Jail maximum security unit on Jan. 22, 2016. To escape they used tools to cut through four layers steel metal grating and rebar. Climbing through a plumbing tunnel and then lowering themselves down the side of the building with a rope bade out of bed sheets.

They escaped from jail at 5 am that morning but were not reported missing until 9:00 p.m. that night. After escaping the inmates stole multiple vehicles and held a taxicab driver hostage en route to San Francisco.

In the video narrated by Nayeri you can see the actual recording of the escape caught on cell phone by the inmates. You can see them crawling through vents and moving throughout the fallibility stopping to take pics in celebration.

The video then cuts to multiple photos of the three along side the taxicab driver they kidnapped.
Eventually the three would split up as Nayeri and Tieu headed to San Francisco and Duong drove back towards Southern California with the cab driver.

In the video you hear Nayeri address Duong as “the first man in history to try and collect reward money on himself.” Duong would turn himself into authorities back in Santa Ana two days before Nayeri and Tieu were captured in San Francisco.

After a week long search the inmates were back in the hands of authorities. In the official video Nayeri prides himself and his escape partners on what they accomplished, “You know, a lot of people like to credit us with some Houdini escape act all in eight minutes flat.” he says.

Something straight out of an episode of the tv show Prison Break.
