When it comes to cats, it is a known fact that they have the so-called righting reflex. The righting reflex means that when the cat is falling, it has the ability to orient itself to always land on its feet. Which means that cats will most likely survive any fall from any height and for that reason, it is said that they have 9 lives.
But, what about other animals? Do they have this reflex? One raccoon is a living proof that maybe we should research if other animals have this reflex, as well.
For the unknown reason, the raccoon was stuck, holding on to the outside wall of a tall building, at about 90 ft height. People got out on their balconies and some gathered outside the building to see what is going on and what will the raccoon do.
Very soon, the raccoon lost control and started falling into what everybody thought would be a certain death. So, people started screaming and shouting.
Surprisingly, just like a cat, the raccoon landed on its feet, got up and happily walked away. The people who were there were shocked but as they saw the raccoon run away, they realized he or she survived the impossible and greeted the raccoon with the applause.
