Pro Gamer Tells Real Reason He Broke Up With ‘World’s Sexiest Weather Girl’

Just a few months ago, pro-gamer Douglas Martin lost the Call of Duty League Championship, just weeks after breaking up with the “world’s sexiest weather girl”, Yanet Garcia. His initial reasoning was that he needed more practice time, but in his latest video, Martin revealed many more details about the breakup.

Martin insisted he had no regrets about the split, telling his 1.3 million Twitter followers: ‘No I do not want Yanet back!” shortly after his elimination from the competition. In his latest YouTube video on the matter, he revealed even more details about their separation:

“I didn’t wanna make her look bad at all. I do wanna see her succeed…

I said I wanted to buy her a car as a thank you and she said ‘Great’, and then I said I wanna film it and she said ‘no, you’re not gonna film that. You can’t film that.’

I had to find a way of balancing good content. She said, ‘is this all this is about? Making money?’ And I see where she’s coming from and it’s just causing all this friction that’s continuing to grow all the time.”

According to Martin, their problems began to surface when he revealed how much his income was growing from his video blogs after the start of their relationship. Apparently, she asked for a percentage of the dough.

In an earlier video however, Martin revealed other motivations for the breakup, stating the pursuit of separate goals and busy schedules were simply becoming too hard to manage:

“I’m on a contract. It’s not like I don’t want to do this, this is the career that I want. I want to win a ring, I want to win a world championship, what I want in my life at this very moment is to compete in Call of Duty because I love it so much. I’m going to do whatever it takes to be a champion. There’s only 24 hours in a day and I just didn’t have enough time to do what I needed to do.”
