The Mighty Ducks Reboot Series Is Coming To Disney+

Quack, Quack, Quack, Quack…!!!

From my childhood couch, I can still hear the echoes filling the arena, as the crowd goes nuts after Charlie’s game winning goal on the “Triple-Deke” to win the state Championship for the Ducks.

Who else remembers the Flying V formation? And what about Goldberg, the overweight lovable goalie? Or Coach Gordon Bombay, the recovering alcoholic who was sentenced to 500 hours of community service to coach the Ducks?

Well, get ready to relive all of the nostalgia. The 1992 Disney classic is officially getting a reboot for Disney’s new streaming service Disney+.

If you don’t already know, Disney+ is Disney’s latest business segment to compete with Netflix. Ever since the rise of streaming, less and less people have been leaving their couch to hit the movies, and even less are buying movies on DVDs.

Disney+ will make every Disney movie ever made available to stream right from home. IN the USA it will be available starting November 12th. This will also include Marvel’s Avenger series amongst Disney Classics like Snow White, Frozen etc..

Aside from old Disney movies, the network will also re-make trilogies such as the Mighty Ducks, as well as a Star Wars sequel to Revenge of The Sith, featuring the original actor for Obi-Wan Kenobi. Proving Disney+ is going to be great for movie fans young and old.

No word has been released yet on if we’ll be seeing any of the original cast, but the original screenwriter Steven Brill has agreed to work on the new reboot.
