Watch Orangutan Battle A Bulldozer To Save Home in David Attenborough Documentary

In the BBC’s latest marvelous nature documentary, “Climate Change, The Facts” global activist David Attenborough takes viewers on an incredible journey around the world to witness specific natural events that are being impacted by human behavior.

Unfortunately, an orangutan from the film is caught in a massive deforestation effort. Viewers are left in tears as they watch the orangutan, who is no match for the 5 ton bulldozer machine, try to fend it off in what appears to be a gesture of anguish and disgust.

Orangutans are listed as “Critically Endangered” by World Wildlife.org. Humans and Orangutans share 96% of the same genes, making them one of our closest animal ancestors. They are highly intelligent creatures and share similar emotions to humans.

The episode premiered April 18th on BBC, but it only in the UK. Luckily, someone uploaded it on Youtube and you can can watch the full HD episode below, beginning with Orangutan ordeal.
