66 Year Old Iowa Official Loses Job For Extreme Tupac Obsession

Everybody has different tastes in music, especially when it comes to a large diverse organization, you’ll find dozens of different genres in peoples headphones at work. However, most don’t project their own musical tastes in emails to 4,300 fellow co-workers.

The Associated Press reports, Iowa’s Director of Human Services, 66 year old Jeff Foxhoven, loved Tupac so much he would send organization wide emails with Tupacs lyrics. Like the email below reminding his coworkers about Fathers Day, but more importantly Tupac’s birthday.

This wasn’t the only one. After an investigation was performed (someone complained) diving into Jeff’s obsession, investigators found over 356 emails with the words Tupac or 2pac.

He even gave advice to a subordinate using Tupac’s lyrics from ‘Changes’.

“It’s time for us as a people to start makin’ some changes.”

Jerry was revered and adored at work for the most part. Most of his employees actually loved the fact that he was obsessed with Tupac. They even got him a Tupac birtday cake.

A spokesperson for the Governor commented to the AP on the resignation of Jerry. Not outright saying that he was fired, but we could read between the lines.

“As the governor has said, a lot of factors contributed to the resignation of Jerry Foxhoven and now Gov. Reynolds is looking forward to taking DHS in a new direction.”

Some loved it but at least one person complained. Jerry, you have a job at Urban Leak, ‘keep ya head up’!!
